Google will unveil the new Pixel 8 series the day after tomorrow, on Wednesday, October 4th. But there have already been so many leaks on the topic that there is hardly anything left to reveal. This includes official photos of the Pixel 8 as well as a short video in which the Pixel 7 Pro talks to Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max in the forest. The next unboxing video appeared on YouTube today.
The video was posted by PBKreviews, a channel that usually focuses on teardowns and drop tests rather than leaks. You can see the contents of the box, including a USB-C to C cable, a USB-C to A adapter, a quick guide and the Google Pixel 8 itself in the “Hazel” color. This is the 128 GB version, which will also have 8 GB of RAM.
PBKreviews has also already gotten its hands on the Google Pixel 8 Pro and also posted a short unboxing video. The contents of the Obsidian Black cell phone box are identical. More details on the specs can be seen in the following leaked comparisons, which come directly from Google itself.

The comparison also includes the prices for the Pixel phones. Accordingly, the Google Pixel 8 will be slightly more expensive at $700/£700/€800, while the Pixel 8 Pro will be priced at $900/£1,000/€1,100.
There will also be some deals for pre-orders at the start. You get a free pair of Pixel Buds Pro with the basic model and the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 with the Pro. The Google smartwatch will be presented together with the cell phones and should cost around €350.
