Google’s latest feature drop for Android and Wear OS brings several new features to Android phones and Wear OS smartwatches. The new features will be available to users over the coming weeks, just in time for the holiday season.

Stream content via Google TV
With the Google TV app, you can now cast content directly to your TV with a single tap. You can search for content on your smartphone and also use it as a remote control.
New reading mode on Android
Android’s new reading mode is becoming more accessible with the update. You can customize the font, size, color and playback speed of the display. Text-to-speech is also available.
New search widget for YouTube home screen
This should make it even easier to access YouTube content directly from the home screen. The new widget shows the personal feed as well as the favorite videos and YouTube shorts.
Sharing digital car keys
Compatible digital car keys can now be shared with other Google Pixel phones or iPhones via the Wallet app.
New festive photo themes in Google Photos
Google Photos gets new festive photo design options from Yao Cheng Design. You select a few of your own photos and the app arranges them in one of several new design options.
New emoji sticker options
You can now combine more emojis into stickers via Gboard.
New Wear OS features
Wear OS tiles are simple shortcuts to apps like Contacts, Google Maps, or the Weather app. Google has also given its notes app Keep a new design, which is better suited for smartwatch displays. Last but not least, Adidas Running now supports Google Assistant voice commands.
