Last week, Samsung had already released the stable One UI 5 update based on Android 13 for the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4. So far, the new firmware has only been available to beta testers in the USA. Now the tech giant has opened the floodgates. The first reports of success come from the home country of South Korea, but other countries are likely to follow soon. The firmware update also includes the November 2022 security patch, which fixes various security vulnerabilities.

The brand new RegiStar module for the Good Lock app is also on board. This allows you to define individual pressure-sensitive gestures for the cover display. RegiStar only works on Samsung phones running Android 13.
Samsung’s Android 13 rollout with One UI 5 is also continuing at high speed in the mid-range. It is now the turn of the Galaxy A52, one of the best-selling members of the A series. The successor Galaxy A53 was already on the line last week. For the time being, the Galaxy A52 update seems to be available in only one country – Russia. Here, too, broader availability should not be long in coming.

The Russian build is called A525FXXU4CVJB and also includes the November 2022 security patch. The Galaxy A52 was launched last year with Android 11 and has since been updated to Android 12 already.
