The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has yet to launch, but a landing page on Indian store Flipkart just revealed a few key details. This includes the design and the April 3rd release date. Much of what is listed on the landing page is already known, but is now officially confirmed by Flipkart.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. There is also a 6.7-inch OLED display, which is slightly curved on the sides and supports a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The panel also supports HDR10+ content and achieves a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits.

The camera system is led by a 50 megapixel main camera. The Edge 50 Pro also has a 13 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus, so close-up macro shots are also possible. The telephoto camera has optical image stabilization and 30x hybrid zoom, but there is no mention of native optical zoom.

One of the more interesting aspects of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is the selfie camera. It is a 50 megapixel sensor with a large f/1.9 aperture and also autofocus. Unfortunately, the latter is still a rarity even on modern flagship phones.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro starts with Android 14 and features the so-called Hello user interface. You get three years of guaranteed OS upgrades and generative AI themes. Other notable features include backs made of vegan leather or a mother-of-pearl surface and the metal frame. There is also a IP68 certification against water and dust as well as 125 watts of fast wired charging and 50 watts of fast wireless charging.
