If you were to ask Oppo, the Find X6 Pro would definitely be the best camera phone on the market right now. DxOMark, which specializes in camera tests, supported this thesis today. The Find X6 Pro scored 153 points in the test, making it the new leader in the ranking. The Honor Magic5 Pro is one point behind and the Huawei Mate 50 Pro is three points behind in third place.
With three huge sensors, the Oppo Find X6 Pro delivered exceptional detail at all focal lengths in the test. There was minimal noise in poorly lit environments. When shooting videos, the Oppo smartphone scored additional points with excellent video stabilization.
However, DxOMark’s reviewers also had some criticisms on their list. These included the Oppo Find X6 Pro showing some inconsistencies in exposure metering for both stills and video. In addition, the 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor under the main camera means that it is rarely possible to focus on all subjects at the same time when taking group shots from a distance. However, the limited depth of field is a problem for all smartphones with large sensors, not just the Find X6 Pro.
