Apple Vision Pro headset about to launch in China

The Apple Vision Pro headset is currently only available in the US and is expected to launch in additional markets after WWDC.
Apple Vision Pro headset

The Apple Vision Pro headset, introduced last June, went on sale in the US in February. Apple CEO Tim Cook already confirmed that the 3D glasses will come to China later this year. However, there is still no exact timetable for the market launch. However, the Vision Pro, along with its battery, has been certified by China’s 3C authority, bringing it one step closer to its launch in China.

While we wait for more details from Apple about the Vision Pro’s launch outside the US, there’s a new report from Bloomberg. Accordingly, the Californian technology giant plans to launch the headset in other countries after WWDC. Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference will take place between June 10 and 14, 2024. This contradicts a statement by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to the Apple insider, Apple will launch the Vision Pro outside the US before WWDC.

In addition to China, Apple is also expected to offer the Vision Pro in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and the United Kingdom. Bloomberg claims that hundreds of Apple retail employees from some of these countries flew to Cupertino. There they received training in dealing with customers who were interested in the Apple Vision Pro. This suggests that these countries will be some of the first international markets for Apple’s headset.
