The Apple iPhone 15 Pro was unveiled at Apple’s fall event last week alongside the iPhone 15, 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The Apple smartphones have been available to pre-order since last Friday and they have been generally available since this Friday. Previously, the YouTube channel PBKreviews had somehow already acquired an iPhone 15 Pro and, as is tradition, disassembled it on video. It shows the entire inner workings of the 15 Pro and at the end everything is put back together again piece by piece.

You could also use the iPhone 15 Pro disassembly video as a guide to take apart your own model. However, given Apple’s controversial tactics when it comes to self-repairs, we’re not sure this route should necessarily be taken. For most people, the video will likely remain in the entertainment realm instead.

The conclusion of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro teardown is a repairability rating of 7 out of 10 points. As a result, you can repair the iPhone 15 Pro yourself relatively easily. 7 is not a bad value. However, the result is slightly skewed by Apple’s guidelines for pairing parts with devices. Because there is no getting around the fact that you strictly stick to replacement parts authorized by Apple. Otherwise, iOS will display all possible errors after assembly and the first start.
