Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Pro: Dummies show new colors

We’ve already heard a lot about the new colors of the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 series. Among other things, Titan Gray will replace the Gold option on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, which goes well with the switch from stainless steel to a titanium case. Now Sonny Dickson has posted the first photos of dummies showing the actual colors chosen by Apple.

However, “colors” is almost a bit of an exaggeration – four shades of grey is more accurate. The Apple iPhone Pro models have always been quite somber, but it has never been so gray. Space black, silver, blue and the already mentioned titanium gray are available for the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. In February 2023, at least one dark red variant was still discussed in the rumor mill. But it has not appeared since then. Maybe Apple didn’t like the combination of red and the new frame. Titanium has a matte finish in contrast to the shiny stainless steel found on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.

The entry-level iPhones also get their share of the colorless pie. Apple sold the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus in canary yellow, among other colors. The Apple iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will get significantly weaker variants of blue, pink, white, green and black.

Apple will officially launch the new iPhone 15 series on September 12th. It will be the first Apple phones with USB-C ports, which can also be seen in the photos above. Various other innovations are also planned, including stacked and periscope cameras, a new A17 Bionic chipset and up to 2 TB of storage.
