Apple Arcade gets four new games this month and more than 40 updates for current games. Let’s start with the new games, the first of which is coming later this week.
My Talking Angela 2
My Talking Angela 2 is a virtual pet game from the creators of Talking Tom & Friends. The release date is September 8th.
Japanese Rural Life Adventure
Japanese Rural Life Adventure will be released on September 15th. It is a cozy life simulation game in a beautiful and carefully designed pixel art style.
Junkworld
Junkworld is a tower defense game similar to Bloons TD 6. It’s full of daring adventures, dangerous areas and dubious companions. The release date is September 22nd.
Cypher 007
Cypher 007 is coming September 29th as a tribute to 60 years of espionage history. The player experiences some of James Bond’s most famous moments and extraordinary adventures.
Also coming on September 29th is a major Hello Kitty Island Adventure update including a “Spooky Celebration Event”. There are also new characters named Baku, Cherry and Berry. According to Apple, this game is the #1 hit in arcade and has a fan rating of 4.9/5.
Later this month, Jetpack Joyride 2 is also getting two new game modes and mini-events. Updates are also coming to WHAT THE CAR?, Cityscapes: Sim Builder, Angry Birds Reloaded and various other games.
Apple Arcade is a subscription service with 200+ games for $4.99 a month. But there is also a one-month free trial. Arcade works on iPhones, iPads, MacBooks and with Apple TV. With each of these products, you can use Apple Arcade free of charge for up to three months. Arcace is also part of the Apple One subscription.
