The AnTuTu benchmark publishes monthly top 10 charts with the currently fastest smartphones. The benchmark tests for March were released today with a narrow winner – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 takes the crown ahead of the Dimensity 9300. However, there are a few things to consider. First of all, these numbers only apply to devices that have completed at least 1,000 AnTuTu benchmark runs in a month. Additionally, AnTuTu only counts benchmark runs conducted in China.

AnTuTu benchmark charts high-end class

As you can see, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage was unbeatable in March. With an average score of 2,141,448, it narrowly left second-place Oppo Find X7 with a Dimensity 9300, 16GB RAM and 1TB storage and an average score of 2,138,119 behind. Third place goes to the iQOO 12 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which achieved an average score of 2,110,595.

Fourth place is taken by the Red Magic 9 Pro+, also with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, followed by the vivo X100 Pro with the Dimensity 9300, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The bottom half of the top 10 is completed by the iQOO Neo9 Pro, iQOO 12 Pro, vivo X100, nubia Z60 Ultra and Oppo Find X7 Ultra. With the exception of the iQOO, all of them have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood.

What is striking is that not a single Xiaomi smartphone appears in the charts. The company may now be focusing less on optimizing its smartphones for AnTuTu. However, it is also conceivable that Xiaomi pays less attention to maximum cooling nowadays.

AnTuTu benchmark charts mid-range

AnTuTu also has its own evaluation for mid-range chipsets. In March, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset in the OnePlus Ace 3V took first place with an average of 1,466,728 points. This is followed by the Redmi K70E with the Dimensity 8300 Ultra and an average of 1,391,125 points and the Realme GT Neo5 SE with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and an average of 1,156,867 points. Next up is the Redmi Note 12 Turbo with the same Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. The top 5 is rounded off by the Oppo Reno11 with its Dimensity 8200.

The rest of the top 10 consists of the iQOO Neo7 SE (Dimensity 8200), the iQOO Z8 (Dimensity 8200), the Redmi Note 12T Pro (Dimensity 8200 Ultra), the OnePlus Ace (Dimensity 8100 Max) and the Honor 100 (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3). In first place is the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and in last place is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Although the chips have some similarities, there is a performance difference of around 75% between the two processors.
