Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet with 11 inch display unveiled

Today Amazon introduced its most powerful tablet ever, the Fire Max 11. As the name suggests, it has an 11-inch display with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels. It’s Amazon’s most powerful tablet to date, with a MediaTek MTK8188J octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM.

There is also 64 or 128 GB of expandable storage and a fingerprint sensor in the power button. According to Amazon, the battery life of the Fire Max 11 is up to 14 hours, but the former booksellers do not reveal the size of the battery. The included charger has an output of 9 watts, so it takes over 4 hours to fully charge the tablet. There’s also a 15-watt adapter that you can buy separately, which cuts the time down to three and a half hours.

Two 8 megapixel cameras take photos and videos, one on the front and one on the back. The Amazon tablet establishes connections via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Dual Dolby Atmos speakers are also on board. The Amazon Fire Max 11 is available for pre-order starting at $229 (213 euros), with deliveries starting next month. A keyboard cover attached via pogo pins and a stylus are available as accessories. The complete package costs $329.99 (307 euros).

However, these prices are for the version with ads on the lock screen. If you can do without ads, you can pay $244.99 (228 euros) for the Amazon Fire Max 11, or $344.99 (321 euros) for the full keyboard and stylus bundle. Regardless of which version you buy, there is a three-month trial of Microsoft 365 Personal with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 1TB of cloud storage, cross-device connections, and a data protection package. At the end of the test phase, the Office package costs $6.99 per month.
