There hasn’t been a new Amazfit smartwatch on the market yet this year. Apparently that will change sooner rather than later. Thanks to a tipster, the first images of the upcoming Amazfit GTR Mini have appeared on the internet. The compact model is reminiscent of the GTS 2 Mini (test), but takes on various features of the more expensive GTR 3 series (Amazfit GTR 3 Pro test). The GTR Mini carries the model code A2174 and has the internal code name “Leiden”.

The Amazfit GTR Mini offers a 1.28-inch 2.5D AMOLED touchscreen display and a stainless steel body with a single button on the right side of the watch. Other features include an integrated GPS receiver with support for GPS, GNSS, QZSS, BEIDOU and GALILEO satellites. Health and fitness features cover 24-hour heart rate, SpO2 and stress monitoring. In addition, the GTR Mini tracks more than 120 sports including activity detection.
The Amazfit GTR Mini is powered by a 500 mAh battery. Unsurprisingly, Amazfit’s Zepp OS is used as the operating system. The Amazfit smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.1 LE and is compatible with any device running Android 7.0 or iOS 12 and higher. The color options are midnight blue, pink and black.
