Amazfit launched the GTR 4 last September, and today the company followed up with a special edition. The Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition is here. It shares most of the specs and features with the standard model but has a different design. It includes a 1.43-inch curved AMOLED display with a sleek 316L stainless steel crown. The crown is supported by a button that is also visually different from the regular model.

Like the crown, the middle frame of the Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition is made of stainless steel, while the back is made of ceramic. The standard model, on the other hand, came with an aluminum alloy frame and a high-gloss lacquered back. There are also new fluoroelastomer straps that are 22mm wide, 150-215mm long and feature a classic pin buckle.

The Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition is also thicker (11.2mm vs. 10.6mm) and heavier (49g vs. 34g) than the standard model and supports wireless magnetic charging. Interestingly, the battery is identical at 475 mAh, but the new model is said to offer more endurance in battery saver mode (28 vs. 24 days). A full charge takes about two hours and lasts up to 14 days of typical use. With heavy use, Amazfit states 8 days (vs. 7 days).
The rest of the specs are largely the same as the regular Amazfit GTR 4. The Limited Edition comes in a single color called Infinite Black and costs $249.99 (€228), $50 more than the regular model. So far, the Amazfit smartwatch can be bought on the official Amazfit website and on Amazon.
