Google Pixel 11a: Leaked CAD renderings reveal design

Alleged technical specifications for the upcoming Google Pixel 11a were leaked back in July, and now the first CAD-based renderings of the device have surfaced. The source of these renderings also confirms one of the most significant improvements already mentioned in the leaked specifications: the Pixel 11a, like the other Pixel 11 smartphones, will be equipped with the Tensor G6 chipset.

It also comes with 8 GB of RAM. As you can see, the Pixel 11a is strikingly similar to the Pixel 10a, which in turn was almost identical to the Pixel 9a.

The trend is clear: Google is saving as much money as possible on the cheapest Pixel by reusing the design as often as possible. The bezels, by the way, are still quite wide.
Google Pixel 11a design almost unchanged
The camera unit of the Pixel 11a has a slightly different shape compared to the Pixel 10a, if you look closely. The Pixel 11a reportedly measures 153.46 x 72.35 x 9 mm, which means that it is slightly shorter and narrower than its predecessor while maintaining the same thickness.
The next Pixel phone will apparently be available in black, silver, green, and purple, with Google surely giving the colors fancy names like “Obsidian” for black. Its 6.3-inch display will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,350 nits. Rumors suggest the battery will have a capacity of 5,000mAh.
Rumours suggest that the Google Pixel 11a will be unveiled next spring, so the sales launch is still a ways off.
