At the beginning of the month, sketches surfaced that were supposedly showing Motorola’s upcoming wide foldable smartphone, which is expected to be released in the coming months. A few days later, the company began teasing the device, thus confirming its existence.

A new leak has revealed the device’s technical specifications. And possibly its name as well – internally it’s apparently called the Motorola Razr Flex, but whether that’s the final name is still unclear. Incidentally, that’s not the codename – that one is apparently Parker.

The Motorola Razr Flex features a 6.92-inch internal OLED foldable display with a resolution of 2364 x 1728 pixels and a 165 Hz refresh rate, as well as a 4.97-inch external OLED display with a resolution of 1140 x 1736 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and comes with 12 GB of RAM, but only 256 GB of internal storage. Oddly, there are reportedly no other storage options available.

The Motorola Razr Flex measures 110 x 149 x 5.8 mm when unfolded and 110 x 76 x 12.6 mm when folded. It features a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultrawide camera on the back, two 32 MP selfie cameras (one per display), and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W wireless charging. It reportedly weighs 215 g and will be available in the Pantone colors Coriander and Dark Botanical Garden.

The Motorola smartphone features a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button on the side. The smartphone is dustproof and waterproof according to IP48 and IP49 standards and will ship with Android 17 in mid-December.
