Honor Watch 6 Pro with dual-layer OLED display, HRV and CGM tracking is here

A few months ago, Honor unveiled the impressive Watch 6 – it’s only 10.8 mm thin yet boasts a powerful 980 mAh battery for up to 35 days of typical use. There’s also a Plus model with a 1,000 mAh silicon carbide battery. Now, the company has introduced the more powerful Honor Watch 6 Pro, which offers less battery life but more features.

The Honor Watch 6 Pro boasts a 1.5-inch dual-layer OLED display (466 x 466 pixels). It offers a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, which increases to 5,500 nits when the brightness range is activated. The watch measures 46.3 mm x 46.3 mm x 11.6 mm.

Besides its impressive display, the Pro model stands out primarily due to its health features. It offers continuous heart rate variability (HRV) monitoring, a second-generation blood pressure monitoring system, and a blood glucose meter with continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Furthermore, it features crash detection and can trigger an alarm if no pulse is detected (cardiac arrest).

The highly accurate Honor Polaris positioning system uses a dual-frequency, three-antenna design for stable reception, even deep in densely populated streets. The watch allows for continuous position tracking for up to 21 hours.

Speaking of battery life: The 500 mAh battery lasts up to 7 days with the always-on display (AOD) activated, and up to 4 days with health tracking enabled. In maximum battery mode, the battery life is up to 18 days.
Honor Watch 6 Pro with trail running mode, professional badminton mode and professional football mode
The Watch 6 Pro features a trail running mode, a professional badminton mode, and a professional soccer mode. It’s even suitable for swimming – the display reacts to wet fingers. Compared to the Honor Watch 5 Pro, it offers features such as all-day HRV tracking, blood glucose monitoring, and cardiac arrest detection. And, of course, the dual-layer OLED display.

The watch has a stainless steel case. Some versions feature a two-tone ceramic design sintered onto the metal at 1400 °C. This is significantly more durable than the paint finish used on other versions. The watch is available in five color/strap combinations:
