vivo Y600i with 8,000 mAh battery unveiled
vivo has quietly unveiled a new model in its Y600 series in China. The new variant, called the vivo Y600i, features an 8,000 mAh battery and a large 6.87-inch display. It joins the recently announced vivo Y600 Turbo and Y600 Pro models.
The Y600i is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It features a microSD card slot for storage expansion. In addition to its large 8,000mAh battery, which supports 44W wired fast charging, the phone also boasts a large 6.87-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and features various AI functions. In terms of cameras, the vivo Y600i offers a 50 MP main camera on the back and an 8 MP front camera.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP69 protection rating, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-SIM 5G connectivity.

The vivo phone is currently available in China in the colors Midnight Black, Sky Blue and Stardust.
The version with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage costs 1,699 CNY (222 Euro/255 US Dollar), the version with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage costs 1,999 CNY (261 Euro/300 US Dollar).
