Honor X9e Pro with 11,000 mAh battery and Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip is here

The brand-new Honor X9e Pro is now officially available in Malaysia and boasts two outstanding features: a 10,000-nit bright display and an 11,000 mAh battery. This is comparable to the typical capacity of the Honor X80 Pro Max, which launched in early June, and both smartphones share similar core specifications.

The impressive battery capacity is achieved through silicon-carbon anode technology. According to Honor’s lab tests, the X9e Pro allows for over 164 hours of music streaming, 35 hours of short video playback, and well over 66 hours of regular video playback. Honor also promises a battery life of six years with average use of six hours per day.

The latter is achieved simply by requiring only about half the charging frequency of such a large battery. And it’s precisely these charging cycles that cause the battery to age. When the time comes, the Honor X9e Pro supports wired charging speeds of up to 80 watts. Thanks to its 27-watt wired reverse charging function, the Honor phone can also be used as a portable power bank.
Aside from its gigantic battery, the X9e Pro features a 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, its impressive peak brightness of 10,000 nits is only achieved sporadically during HDR video playback.

The X9e Pro also offers an improved 16 MP front camera compared to the 8 MP selfie camera of the X80 Pro Max. On the back, it still features the 108 MP main camera (1/1.67 inch), accompanied by a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Other specifications include a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 or 512 GB of storage. The Honor X9e Pro is IP69K water and splash resistant. Honor states that lab tests involved a staggering 100,000 repeated immersions. It runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
