Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar with dual-sided solar charging introduced
The Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar is here, a new solar-powered smartwatch with solar cells on both the front and back. These two solar cells extend battery life when the watch is exposed to sunlight.
The Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar, with its built-in 660 mAh battery, is designed to achieve a typical usage time of up to 21 days. However, if the watch is worn on the wrist and exposed to three hours of direct sunlight daily, the typical battery life can increase to up to 34 days.
Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar battery lasts up to 51 days
If the larger solar panel on the back is also exposed to three hours of direct sunlight daily, the battery can last for up to 51 days with typical use. If energy consumption is less of a concern, the 1.32-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass protection achieves a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
The Amazfit smartwatch supports more than 180 training modes, Bluetooth calls, and is water-resistant up to 10 ATM. It also features an integrated LED flashlight.
Currently, the only color option available is basalt black with a silicone strap. The smartwatch costs €650 in Europe and $650 in the USA.
