After Poco and previously Redmi upgraded their smartphones in China with Bose sound, the next smartphone manufacturer has partnered with a high-end audio company. The Motorola Signature 27 receives a fine-tuning from Bang & Olufsen. It also features a brand-new camera module.

Motorola Signature 27 with Bang & Olufsen sound

Motorola has entered into a multi-year partnership with Bang & Olufsen. As a new X-Teaser reveals, the Motorola Signature 27, whose official unveiling is expected in a few hours, will be the first smartphone on the market to feature a B&O logo.

The official press release states that Motorola and B&O “share a common belief that technology should deliver exceptional performance alongside thoughtful design.” The brands promise to “create experiences where sound is not just a feature, but a deliberate and integral part of the product experience.”

The Motorola Signature 27 will feature sound optimized by B&O’s acoustic engineers, and the integration is said to be “deepened in terms of audio technologies, sound modes, new user experiences, and an expanded ecosystem for future product launches,” whatever that may mean. Motorola emphasizes that this partnership strengthens its expertise in lifestyle technology.

The company aims to “be naturally connected to the way people live, express themselves and experience the world”, while at the same time “building a premium ecosystem that feels more personal, expressive and relevant to consumers’ everyday lives”.

New camera layout

The Motorola Signature 27 will be unveiled at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit. The company has already revealed the camera module, which sets a new standard in design – not just for Motorola, but for all mobile phone manufacturers.

What exactly is behind these four lens openings (and the ring flash on the right side, see image above) remains Motorola’s secret for now. However, it’s obvious that the new Motorola phone, just like the first Signature, is positioned in the absolute premium segment.

Is Motorola’s first true flagship smartphone in a long time about to be launched? We’ll know for sure in a few hours.
