Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition with light-sensitive color-changing technology is here
As promised, the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is now officially available and, according to the manufacturer, features the world’s first color-matching technology with quad light sensors. The Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition were also unveiled alongside the smartphone.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is the company’s second smartphone created in collaboration with Warner Bros., following the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition. The Harry Potter Edition features a distinctive design with a textured brown back panel showcasing an argyle pattern inspired by wizard’s chess.
The back of the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition features the Hogwarts crest, which, according to Realme, incorporates the world’s first color-changing technology using quad light sensors. Under UV light, the crest simultaneously displays four colors representing the four Hogwarts houses.
Other Harry Potter-inspired design elements include an engraved frame inscribed with “Welcome to Hogwarts”, a metal mirror camera ornament inspired by Harry’s owl Hedwig, and a custom interface featuring Harry Potter icons, lock screen themes, wallpapers, and camera filters.
The Realme phone also comes with an exclusive gift box inspired by Harry’s Hogwarts trunk. Limited to just 5,000 units worldwide, the box contains a Hogwarts letter, a ticket to Platform 9¾, bookmarks, postcards featuring characters, a phone case, and a SIM card eject tool.
In terms of specifications, the Harry Potter Edition is identical to the standard Realme 16 Pro model and features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 200 MP main camera on the back, the Dimensity 7300 Max chipset and a 7,000 mAh battery.
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition costs 62,999 INR (572 Euro/658 USD) in India and will be available from tomorrow. It features 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition
Alongside the smartphone, the Chinese manufacturer also launched the Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition.
The Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition comes in a brown charging case with the Hogwarts logo and other Harry Potter-inspired design elements. The technical specifications are essentially the same as the standard Buds T500 Pro.
The earphones cost 6,999 INR (64 Euro/73 USD) and will be available from tomorrow.
