Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra to be released next month

We know that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will be released before the end of the year. However, the exact timing was unclear. The two premium tablets were originally supposed to launch alongside the Galaxy S26 FE, but that obviously didn’t happen. Instead, they will be released about a month later.

According to a new tip from Evan Blass, the Tab S12 generation will instead be unveiled on October 7th. That’s in just over three weeks. Numerous leaks have indicated that the new tablets are definitely on their way to market launch, including several certifications. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra were already presented in early September, along with the Galaxy S25 FE.

However, previous leaks have already painted a fairly complete picture of the Samsung tablets. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra ran on a Dimensity 9500 chipset in the Geekbench test, and we expect the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ to use the same chip. Renderings also showed that the design won’t change much, including the notch on the Ultra.
The Ultra will also feature a 14.6-inch display, while the Plus will retain its 12.4-inch display. There will be no 11-inch standard model this year (just as there was no Tab S11+ last year). The Ultra’s battery remains unchanged at 11,600 mAh and supports 45W fast charging. However, the Tab S12+ could potentially have an improved battery compared to the Tab S10+.
We’ve also seen leaked prices for both tablets. The table below shows the prices of the Wi-Fi-only models. 5G connectivity adds $150 to the price.
