Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max will be available worldwide and will be among the first flagship smartphones with the brand-new Dimensity 9600 Pro processor. The smartphone itself has not yet been fully unveiled – the launch in China is planned for September 22nd, with the global launch following next month.

The Pro Max model is listed in the Chinese Oppo online store alongside the Find X10 and Find X10 E. However, it’s still unclear whether all three models will be available worldwide and whether they will have the same configurations. The Pro Max is listed with the following storage configurations: 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, 16/512 GB, and 16 GB/1 TB. Pricing will be announced later.

Today’s announcement focuses on the impressive performance of the Dimensity 9600 Pro – MediaTek’s first 2nm chip (TSMC N2P), which promises significant performance gains. The CPU is up to 15% faster in multicore tests, and the GPU is up to 27% faster. The new NPU offers double the INT4 performance for AI (compared to the Dimensity 9500 NPU). Most impressive, however, is the CPU’s up to 61% higher energy efficiency in multicore applications.

The CPU features two Arm C2 Ultra cores with a clock speed of up to 4.55 GHz. This is an improvement over the single Ultra core (C1 Ultra) of last year’s 9500 chip.

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max with Laminar Flow Engine

Oppo, in collaboration with MediaTek, developed the Laminar Flow Engine, which premiered in the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. This technology provides a better balance between system responsiveness and lower power consumption. This is achieved through “restructuring the underlying rendering architecture and aligning it more closely with system design.”

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max features three 200MP cameras: a main camera with an f/1.5 aperture and 17 EV dynamic range, a periscope lens with an f/2.1 aperture and CIPA 7.5 stabilization, and a 124° ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, an 8,000mAh SiC battery, and a large display with bezels only 0.99mm wide (compared to 1.15mm for the Find X9 series and 1.45mm for the Find X8 series).
