vivo X500 and X500 Pro Max: Design and color options revealed
The vivo X500 series will launch in China on September 21st. Shortly before the launch, the company unveiled the updated design of the standard model and the Pro Max version, as well as the available color options.
vivo X500
Unlike its predecessor, the vivo X300, the upcoming vivo X500 features a redesigned back. The smartphone has a new camera layout with a large, circular module on the left side.
The LED flash is located outside the circular module, while the entire camera array is housed in a raised rectangular camera platform that spans the full width of the phone.
vivo recently confirmed that the base model will feature the same main and telephoto sensors as the vivo X300 Pro. Alongside unveiling the new design, vivo also confirmed the smartphone’s color options. The X500 will be available in black, light gray, light pink, and a fourth gradient variant.
vivo X500 Pro Max
The second teaser shows the design and different colors of the vivo X500 Pro Max.
The X500 Pro Max is expected to be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.
It will also feature a main camera with a sensor developed jointly with Sony, offering a dynamic range of 17 EV.
The 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera is the same as in the vivo X300 Ultra. The vivo smartphone also supports a 400mm teleconverter. The video above provides a first look at the design.
