Apple iPhone 20 to be the biggest update since the iPhone X

According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch a special iPhone next year that will feature the biggest design changes since the iPhone X – the Apple iPhone 20, to mark the 20th anniversary of Steve Jobs introducing the first iPhone in 2007.

According to a report, Apple plans to release an anniversary iPhone with “rounded glass on all corners and edges” and narrower bezels around the display. “It will be the biggest overhaul of today’s iPhone Pro line since the iPhone X,” the report stated, but no further details were given.

Furthermore, Front Page Tech has uploaded a new video that largely incorporates the technical details from the leak. It shows an all-glass design on the front and a dual-lens camera module on the back. This camera setup would be a good fit for a base model, but would also suggest that there will likely be an iPhone 20 Pro (and Pro Max).
Released in 2017, the iPhone X was the first iPhone with Face ID. The removal of the Touch ID button allowed the iPhone X’s screen to extend further to the edges of the device compared to previous models. The Apple iPhone 20 now appears to be taking this a step further, allowing the screen to wrap around the corners and edges of the device, resulting in a design made almost entirely of glass.
Rumors about the Apple iPhone 20 have been circulating for some time, but according to Gurman’s report, the device appears to still be in development. However, it remains to be seen whether Apple will be able to fully implement the ambitious design changes that are apparently under development, or whether the plans will ultimately be scaled back.
