Huawei Watch D3 and FreeBuds Neo launch globally

The Watch 6 and Watch GT 7 series are Huawei’s mainstream smartwatches, but the brand has also introduced the Huawei Watch D3, the latest addition to its health-focused Watch D series. It offers medical-grade blood pressure measurement and an updated design with a larger, brighter display.
Alongside the new wrist-worn devices, Huawei also announced a new pair of wireless earbuds called FreeBuds Neo. The Watch D3 looks very similar to its predecessor, but Huawei has managed to slim down the aluminum casing to 11.3 mm while keeping the weight at 40 grams.
Huawei Watch D3
The Watch D3 features a slightly larger 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits – a significant improvement over the D2’s 1,500 nits. The wristband incorporates an airbag (1 mm narrower) that expands to measure blood pressure at the wrist.

Like its predecessor, the Huawei Watch D3 continues to offer 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) with trend analysis. Huawei also highlights quieter operation during nighttime blood pressure measurements.

The Huawei Watch D3 can now also record your heart rate trends, including blood pressure measurements before and after workouts – a new feature. Huawei’s Health Glance function is also integrated, as before, and offers a comprehensive health report with eleven key indicators in 60 seconds, including heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen saturation.

In addition, the Huawei Watch D3 features updated Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity and a slightly larger 540 mAh battery, which should be sufficient for up to 6 days of normal use.
The Huawei smartwatch costs 449 euros/399.99 pounds and will be available from September 23rd.
Huawei FreeBuds Neo
The Huawei FreeBuds Neo are Huawei’s latest model of wireless earbuds. They offer dual-channel noise cancellation of up to 30 dB and adaptive algorithms that adjust the active noise cancellation (ANC) to the environment within milliseconds.

The third-generation audio chip in the Huawei FreeBuds Neo offers high-resolution, lossless transmission at 2.3 Mbps and a maximum transmission bitrate of 990 kbps. You also benefit from 3D audio and seamless compatibility with Android, iOS, and Windows devices, including simultaneous pairing of two devices.
The Huawei FreeBuds Neo are available in Stellar Silver, Nebula Pink, Ice White, and Starry Black. The recommended retail price is €109/£119.99, and the official launch date is September 23rd. Orders placed before October 26th will receive a £20 discount.
