Huawei Watch D3 and Huawei FreeBuds Neo before launch

Huawei is preparing for the market launch of the nova 16s Pro on September 2nd, but it turns out the company will also be introducing two other products – a new smartwatch called Huawei Watch D3 and new earbuds called Huawei FreeBuds Neo.
Huawei Watch D3

The Huawei Watch D3 is the third model in the series, following the original Watch D from 2022 and the Watch D2 from 2024. The D-series watches feature special wristbands that accurately measure the wearer’s blood pressure – similar to the inflatable cuffs used in blood pressure monitors. While some watches use optical sensors instead, the measurement provided by the D3 is expected to be more accurate.
Judging from the teaser clip, the Huawei Watch D3 will be thinner than the D2 (13.3 mm). Otherwise, the watch retains the same form with a rectangular display, digital crown, and button below it. The teaser mentions a “larger screen” without specifying how large it will be – the D2 already had a fairly large 1.82-inch display.
Huawei FreeBuds Neo

The Huawei FreeBuds Neo aren’t visible in the short teaser video, but we assume they are in-ear headphones. The charging case, by the way, strongly resembles that of the FreeBuds 6i with its wide, pebble-like shape.
The Huawei nova 16s Pro is the global version of the nova 16 Pro (without the “s”), which was already launched in China in June. There may be some hardware differences, similar to those between the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90 Pro.
