Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra appears in renderings with a new design

Yesterday, a rough CAD rendering of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra was leaked, and today a number of much more detailed and higher-resolution renderings of the device have surfaced on the internet.

As can be seen, and as has been visible in leaks for months, Samsung is redesigning the camera module, opting for a large rectangle in the style of Apple (or like the current Poco phones and the new Honor 600 series). The camera sensors are located on the left side of the module.

According to the source of these renderings, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra measures 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97 mm, making it slightly larger than its predecessor in all three dimensions. However, the difference is less than a millimeter, so it will be practically unnoticeable, even in a direct comparison.

The thickness at the camera bump is 12.53 mm. Above you can see some comparison images with the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the iPhone 17 Pro Max to better put the dimensions into perspective.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra will have a 6.9-inch display and will most likely be equipped with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.
