Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra: Worldwide launch, design and colors confirmed
Poco has officially confirmed the global launch of its new F9 series, consisting of the Poco F9 Pro and the F9 Ultra. The company also revealed the design and color options of the smartphones, confirming earlier rumors that they are rebranded versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max.
The Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra will be unveiled worldwide on September 1st at an online event.
In addition to confirming the release date, Poco also unveiled the F9 Ultra in Dark Cherry and the F9 Pro in Aurora Green.
Poco F9 Pro and Ultra as renamed Redmi K100 Pro and Pro Max
Although the company hasn’t yet released the technical specifications of the upcoming Poco phones, a recent leak has already revealed all the details. According to this leak, the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra are essentially rebranded versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, respectively. This is generally good news, but as is often the case, the international Poco models will have smaller batteries than the Chinese Redmi versions.
According to a leak, the F9 Pro will be equipped with a 6,330 mAh battery, while the F9 Ultra will have an 8,050 mAh battery. The other specifications are expected to remain unchanged compared to the Redmi models. The F9 Pro is expected to cost around €799, and the F9 Ultra is estimated at €999.
