Google has released the Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 update for compatible Pixel devices. Besides fixing several bugs, the new software also offers some interesting new features. The most significant change is the ability to customize the Quick Settings menu.
Layout editor for quick settings

With Android 17, Google introduces a new editor for Quick Settings, allowing you to rearrange almost all switches and settings as you wish. You can choose which quick settings should be displayed as larger tiles and even move the brightness slider and media player.
Android 17 design options

Further design options will be included in the final version. For example, the hue of the four main colors can be adjusted via a slider, and some blurring effects will also be added.
In addition, the update introduces some call protection features designed to prevent users from falling victim to social engineering scams by displaying additional confirmation dialogs when dialing call forwarding calls.
