Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra: Images, technical data and prices leaked
Two new leaks have revealed various images, technical specifications, battery capacities, and prices of the upcoming Xiaomi phones Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra. Let’s get started.
Poco F9 Pro
As expected, the Poco F9 Pro is a rebranded Redmi K100 Pro, while the Poco F9 Ultra is based on the Redmi K100 Pro Max. However, both smartphones have smaller batteries in their Poco versions, a phenomenon we regularly see with international models. Otherwise, the technical specifications are identical to their Chinese counterparts.
The Poco F9 Pro features a 6.59-inch 1156×2510 AMOLED touchscreen with a 185Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC as its processor, 12/16GB RAM, 256/512GB storage, a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.
Poco F9 Ultra
The Poco F9 Ultra, on the other hand, features a 6.9-inch 1200×2608 AMOLED touchscreen with the same refresh rate and peak brightness, the same chipset and RAM/storage options, the same main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Both smartphones feature Gorilla Glass 7i on the display, a metal frame, and a glass-fiber reinforced plastic back. Both devices are equipped with Bose speakers, and the Ultra model also offers an LED ring for notifications. Both Poco phones are IP69 dustproof and waterproof and support 100W fast charging.
Battery capacities
A second new leak has also revealed the battery capacities of the two smartphones. According to this leak, the F9 Pro has a 6,330 mAh battery and the F9 Ultra an 8,050 mAh battery, compared to 8,580 mAh for the Redmi K100 Pro and 9,070 mAh for the Pro Max.
Prices
The Poco F9 Pro is rumored to cost “at least €799,” while the Ultra is expected to cost “at least €999.” For comparison, the Poco F8 launched at €549, and the Poco F8 Ultra at €749.
