Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 with a 50MP camera in just 4.7 mm is here
Alongside the nova 16 SE, Huawei also unveiled the Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 tablet today. It features a 12-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3036 x 1952 pixels and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Depending on the model, it is powered by either the Kirin T93 or Kirin T93A chipset – the T93 is used in the standard version, while the T93A is found in the more affordable Enjoy Edition.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 runs HarmonyOS 6.1 and is available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage. It features a 50 MP main camera (f/1.8) on the back, while the front camera has a 12 MP resolution (f/2.4).
The necessary power is provided by a 10,400 mAh battery with support for 66-watt wired fast charging and 40-watt reverse charging. The tablet features four speakers, four microphones, and a fingerprint scanner. It measures 264.2 x 172.9 x 4.7 mm and weighs only 439 g.
Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 Colors and Prices
The Enjoy Edition (with Kirin T93A) is available from 5,699 CNY (731 Euro/843 USD) with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The version with Huawei’s PaperMatte display costs 6,499 CNY (834 Euro/962 USD). Alternatively, the Enjoy Edition with 12 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, and a keyboard is available for 7,699 CNY (988 Euro/1,139 USD).
The standard version of the Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 costs 5,999 CNY (770 euros/888 USD) with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the variant with a PaperMatte display costs 7,199 CNY (924 euros/1,065 USD). The tablet will be available in Floating White, Condensed Blue, Cherry Blossom Pink, Space Gray, and Bright Moon Silver, although not all colors are yet available for pre-order. Shipping in China is expected before August 21st.
A worldwide release is rather unlikely, but the recently released MatePad Pro Max is very similar to this model in terms of technical specifications and is already available in some global markets.
