Poco M8 Power unveiled with 120Hz display and 8,000mAh battery
As promised, Xiaomi today unveiled the Poco M8 Power, thus presenting the fourth smartphone in Poco’s M8 series.
One of its key features is its 8,000 mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, allows for up to 28 hours of video playback, 14 hours of gaming, 31 hours of social media use, 11 hours of navigation, or 38 days of standby time. The smartphone supports 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.
The Poco M8 Power is based on a 6.9-inch 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 7i protection and an underlying fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
The Poco M8 Power is equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset and features up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
The smartphone runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and will receive four Android generations as well as six years of security updates.
For photography purposes, there are two usable cameras – a 50 MP main camera (Light Fusion 400) on the back and an 8 MP selfie camera on the front.
Other highlights include IP65 certification, a USB-C port, and a dedicated microSD card slot. The smartphone is 8.45 mm thin and weighs 225 g. It is available in Blaze Orange, Black, and Green.
Poco M8 Power prices
The Poco M8 Power is available in two storage configurations – 6/128 GB and 8/128 GB – priced at INR 24,999 (EUR 228/USD 263) and INR 27,999 (EUR 255/USD 294), respectively. It will be available in India via Flipkart starting August 7th.
