According to a new leak from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo Find X10 Ultra is currently being tested with two different sensors for its second telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. The company will reportedly choose between two 50-megapixel sensors of the same 1/1.95-inch size.

One sensor is the Samsung ISOCELL GNB, the other the OmniVision OV51A. Both have telephoto and macro capabilities, so the exact differences are unclear. Oppo has reportedly not yet decided on either, but regardless of which model they choose, both sound excellent on paper. It may simply come down to price.

Oppo Find X10 Ultra with 200 MP telephoto camera

Previous rumors suggested that the Oppo Find X10 Ultra would also feature a 200-megapixel telephoto camera with either a 1/1.3-inch sensor or a 1/1.12-inch sensor for close-up shots. Oppo would thus offer two sensor options for both telephoto cameras.

For comparison, the Find X9 Ultra features a 200MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 1/1.28″ sensor, as well as a 50MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and a 1/2.75″ sensor. Since the Find X9 Ultra was unveiled in April and released in May, the launch of its successor is likely still a long way off. Until then, we can expect plenty more leaks and rumors.
