Huawei nova 16 SE will be released next week along with the new MatePad Pro and MateBook Fold 2
Huawei has announced a product event for August 5th, where the Huawei nova 16 SE will be unveiled along with newer versions of the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design and the MatePad Pro. The company will also present a new MateBook Pro S and a range of RGB MiniLED TVs.
It has been confirmed that the Huawei nova 16 SE will be equipped with the Kirin 8020 chipset and will feature a 6.84-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 8,000 nits.

Furthermore, the first live images of the Huawei nova 16 SE have surfaced in China, and its design is said to be very similar to the Honor Power 2. It will complement the already available models nova 16, nova 16 Pro, nova 16 Ultra, and nova 16z.
The overall design language is definitely similar to that of the Honor Power 2, but the nova 16 SE has a differently positioned LED flash as well as a gradient design on two versions.
Rumors suggest the nova 16 SE will feature a flat LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution, the Kirin 8020 chipset, a 50-megapixel main camera with Red Maple Imaging technology, and an 8,500 mAh battery with support for 66-watt wired fast charging. The smartphone will ship with HarmonyOS as standard.
Huawei MatePad Pro, MateBook Fold 2 and MateBook Pro S
Huawei will also unveil an improved MatePad Pro at the event, although the company has not yet released any details about the tablet.
Also being unveiled at the event is the updated Huawei MateBook Fold 2, the successor to the original MateBook Fold Ultimate, featuring an 18-inch foldable display. It will be available in three color variants.
The company will also unveil the new MateBook Pro S, which is rumored to weigh only 798 grams. All upcoming devices, with the exception of the improved MatePad Pro, are currently available for pre-order through Huawei’s official online store.
