The HMD Asha 305 was unveiled today in the Philippines and is available now. Marketed as a “lite smartphone,” it aims to offer an improvement over feature phones. It comes equipped with Android AOSP, over 100 pre-loaded apps, a replaceable battery, and essential hardware.

It is powered by a Unisoc T137 chipset, paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The HMD Asha 305 features a 5-inch LCD display on the front with a resolution of 480 × 854 pixels.

For photos, the mobile phone is equipped with a 2-megapixel main camera with LED flash, while a separate 2-megapixel front camera is responsible for selfies and video calls. The smartphone also features a replaceable 2,500 mAh battery, which, according to HMD, allows for a standby time of up to 32 hours.
