Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8: New images shortly before launch

With only one day left until Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, the leaks keep coming. The latest leak gives us another look at the upcoming widescreen smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, ahead of its global debut. The images appear quite official, offering yet another glimpse of Samsung’s forthcoming foldable device.

The images show the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide in three color variants. As recently leaked, the smartphone is available in graphite, lavender, and cream. Rumors suggest there will also be a green pistachio variant, which will be available exclusively through Samsung’s online store.

The second image shows the outer display of the foldable device, which is rumored to be 5.5 inches and have a 16:10 aspect ratio with narrow, uniform bezels. It also offers a view of the bottom edge, where the speaker grille, USB-C port, and microphone cutouts are visible.

Another render focuses on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide’s Flex Titanium hinge, which is used for the inner 7.6-inch display, reportedly offering a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Samsung recently unveiled its Flex Titanium technology, which will debut in its upcoming foldable smartphones. According to the company, the technology combines a titanium alloy film with a flexible titanium plate to improve durability, reduce display creasing, and optimize the overall viewing experience.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset and is rumored to have a 4,800 mAh battery. It is expected to feature a 50 MP main camera on the back, along with a second 50 MP ultrawide camera and two 10 MP selfie cameras. Samsung also anticipates better sales figures than for the Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8.
