Redmi Watch 6 Active and Redmi Watch 6 Lite: Specs, pictures and prices
According to a new leak, Xiaomi is currently working on two smartwatches – the Redmi Watch 6 Active and the Redmi Watch 6 Lite. Both can be seen in the leaked images below. They will complement the regular Redmi Watch 6 in the brand’s product portfolio.
Redmi Watch 6 Active
Both models offer over 140 sports modes, heart rate and SpO2 measurement, sleep tracking, and of course, distance measurement. Interestingly, despite its name, the Watch 6 Active is cheaper than the Watch 6 Lite: it will launch in the Eurozone for €50, while the Lite model will cost €60.
Redmi Watch 6 Lite
The Redmi Watch 6 Active features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels, Bluetooth 5.3, and a 470 mAh battery. The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is equipped with a 1.96-inch AMOLED display (410 x 502 pixels), a 9-axis motion sensor, multi-system GPS, and a speaker. It has the same 470 mAh battery as the Active.
It’s still unclear when and where the Redmi smartwatches will be released. Europe seems almost certain based on leaked Euro prices, but we don’t yet know where else they’ll be available. We’re eagerly awaiting Xiaomi’s first official teaser.
