Redmi Note 17 Pro storage options revealed in new leak

Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi Note 17 Pro alongside the Note 17 for the Chinese market and is apparently also working on global models. Data from an import and export database indicates that the global Pro model will be available in at least two RAM/storage configurations: 4/64 GB and 6/128 GB. For comparison, the Chinese Note 17 Pro is available with 8 and 12 GB of RAM and 128, 256, or 512 GB of storage.

The global device has the model number 2607DRA18G, while the Chinese version is 2607DRA18C. The letter at the end of the model number indicates the target market: “C” stands for China, and “G” for the rest of the world.

Interestingly, the Redmi Note 17 Pro is apparently also sold as a Poco phone with the model number 2607DPC18G, where the “RA” for Redmi is replaced by “PC” for Poco, but otherwise the model number is exactly the same.
Redmi Note 17 Pro as Poco M8 Plus
It’s still unclear what the new Poco smartphone will be called, but we recently came across the Poco M8 Plus, which is presumably a rebranded Chinese Redmi Note 17. According to a tipster on X, the global Redmi Note 17 Pro will have an 8,340 mAh battery, with this number likely indicating the nominal capacity.
If that’s the case, the typical capacity will likely be advertised as 8,500 mAh. That’s less than the 9,000 mAh of the Chinese model, and there are also rumors that a 9,000 mAh version will be available in India.
