Tecno Camon 50 Ultra launched in India
As promised, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra has been launched in India today. Sales will begin on July 21st exclusively through Amazon.in.
The specifications and features in India are the same as in other markets. This means it comes equipped with the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2644 x 1208 pixels, and HiOS 16 based on Android 16. The smartphone will receive three years of Android operating system upgrades and five years of security updates.
The Camon 50 Ultra features three 50MP cameras: a 50MP selfie camera (with autofocus), a 50MP main camera (with optical image stabilization), and a 50MP telephoto lens (with 3x optical zoom). The ultrawide camera (112° field of view) on the back uses an 8MP sensor.
The entire device is powered by a 6,500 mAh battery with 45-watt charging support. Note that the Ultra has a 6,150 mAh battery in some other regions.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP66/68/69/69K protection rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, Dolby Atmos and underwater photography support.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra costs 39,999 INR in India and is available in three colors: Nebula Titanium, Cypress Green, and Misty Purple. For unknown reasons, the RAM capacity and storage capacity of the Camon 50 Ultra for the Indian market have not been disclosed.
