OnePlus has announced its withdrawal from the European and North American markets. In a separate statement, the company confirmed that its operations in India will continue. The brand will no longer launch new products in Europe and North America. However, existing devices will continue to receive scheduled software updates and security patches. Customer service channels will also remain open to process warranty and support claims.

The North American community website and app will be shut down on August 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. The European community and stores will remain open for the time being. For the Indian market, the company has stated that it will continue operations as usual and plans to launch further products, including the upcoming OnePlus N6x.

OnePlus switches to ColorOS with Android 17

The brand also confirmed that all existing, compatible OnePlus devices will be switched from OxygenOS to ColorOS with the Android 17 update in all regions.

The announcement follows weeks of rumors and speculation about the brand’s closure in Western markets. Bloomberg also recently published a report stating that Indian operations are slated to cease in 2027, leaving only the Chinese operation to continue.
