Xiaomi 18 Pro to bring numerous improvements
The Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to launch in September alongside the base model and the Pro Max. These are likely to be the first devices equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipsets.
The well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has now published the most important technical specifications of the Xiaomi 18 Pro on Weibo. It is allegedly equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and will feature a particularly clear, small, flat display with large, rounded corners and extremely narrow, symmetrical bezels on all four sides.
Xiaomi 18 Pro with two 200MP cameras
The device is apparently supposed to be equipped with a 200MP main camera with an ultra-large sensor, a 200MP telephoto macro camera with a large sensor, improved dual speakers and a “relatively large” vibration motor.
The battery capacity is expected to be at least 7,000 mAh and will support both 100-watt wired charging and wireless charging. It remains to be seen whether the Xiaomi smartphone will launch with Android 17.
