Motorola Edge 70 Max: New pictures, specs and teaser

Back in June, we saw the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Max in some leaked renderings, and a few days ago the company itself started teasing the device in India.

More renderings have now leaked, and one of them conveniently reveals some of the smartphone’s key specifications. As you can see, the Edge 70 Max will feature a 7,100 mAh battery and a 6.82-inch Extreme AMOLED display.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The smartphone will also support magnetic wireless charging, which is still a rarity in the Android world.

Furthermore, the Motorola Edge 70 Max was teased via the official X account in India.
There is also a teaser microsite from Flipkart for the device, which uses phrases such as “Maximum performance with every move”, “Built to dominate” and “Effortlessly fast”.

The latter is particularly interesting as it suggests integrated magnets for wireless charging, which is still an extremely rare feature in the Android world.

Previous rumors suggested that the Motorola Edge 70 Max would be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera featuring Sony’s Lytia 710 sensor. The smartphone was expected to be available in Onyx Black, Sage Green, and Glacier Blue.
