Samsung Galaxy A18: Leaked renderings reveal design
Samsung is expected to expand its budget smartphone lineup of the Galaxy A series with the Samsung Galaxy A18 in the coming months. Leaked renderings have now revealed the device’s design. Published by Smartphone Checker in collaboration with the well-known leaker OnLeaks, the renderings are said to be based on CAD files that Samsung provided to case manufacturers.
According to leaked images, the Galaxy A18 retains a design largely similar to its predecessor. It features a familiar triple-camera setup on the back, although the camera housing appears to be more flush with the back.
According to the leak, the Galaxy A18 will measure 164.4 x 77.8 x 7.84 mm, making it 0.1 mm thinner and 0.34 mm thicker than the Galaxy A17.
Samsung Galaxy A18 with Infinity-U display
On the front, the phone appears to have an Infinity-U display with relatively thick bezels, similar to its predecessor.
According to a recent report, the Samsung Galaxy A18 will be offered in both 4G and 5G variants, with neither model expected to feature an Exynos chipset. Instead, it is speculated that the 4G version will use a MediaTek chipset and the 5G model a Snapdragon chipset.
