Redmi Note 17 series: Release date and design officially revealed
Last week, Xiaomi confirmed that the new Redmi Note 17 series will launch in China this month. Now, the company has announced the release date and revealed the design as well as some of the key features.
The Redmi Note 17 and 17 Pro are scheduled to launch in China on July 14th. According to official teaser images, the standard model will feature a single rear camera housed in a square camera module.
The Pro model, on the other hand, appears to have a dual camera on the back with a similar camera island.

The teaser also shows the smartphone in the new “Clear Blue” color. Redmi has also confirmed that the Pro model will be protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.
According to a recent leak, the key specifications of the two Redmi smartphones have also been revealed. The base model is rumored to have a 6.83-inch display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, a 9,000 mAh battery, and a 50-megapixel main camera on the back.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to offer similar specifications, but will feature a 200MP main camera on the back. Further details, including price and availability, will be announced next week at the product launch.
