OnePlus has launched a brand-new smartphone series, and India is the first market to receive it. The standout feature of the OnePlus N6 is its massive 8,000 mAh battery. It supports 45W SuperVOOC wired charging as well as 5W wired reverse charging, allowing the N6 to also be used as a power bank.

OnePlus has also integrated a bypass charging feature, allowing the N6 to draw power directly from the motherboard without ever charging the battery. This helps keep the device cool during demanding tasks like gaming. OnePlus proudly states that the N6’s battery is designed to withstand over 1,600 charge cycles and retain over 80% of its capacity after 7 years of use.

The remaining specifications include MediaTek’s Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, which, along with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, forms the core of the device. A microSD card slot allows for storage expansion.

The front is dominated by a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a maximum brightness of 1200 nits and features an 8-megapixel front camera in a notch.

The OnePlus smartphone features a 50MP main camera on the back with an f/1.8 aperture – no other main cameras are included. It runs OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16. OnePlus promises two major operating system updates and three years of security updates.
