Apple iPhone 18 Pro specs and iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2 display specs leaked
Apple is “concerned” about a recent data breach at Tata Electronics, one of its manufacturing partners in India, according to Reuters. Tata Electronics was the target of a cyberattack in which confidential Apple documents were stolen and distributed on the dark web.
Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max data stolen
Hackers managed to steal information about the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, including a list of suppliers, components, and images of the devices. Detailed documents containing design drawings and component specifications were leaked. According to earlier reports, the leaked data also included emails, event logs, documents from TSMC and Qualcomm, and information about older iPhones.
According to Reuters, at least six files reveal “hundreds” of iPhone 18 Pro components, including details of chips on the logic board, as well as battery and camera components. The leaked files contain “confidential” Apple watermarks and Apple codenames for the iPhone 18 Pro models, along with images of the iPhones during drop tests.
According to Reuters, the images show a “flat, gray smartphone with a triple-camera setup on the back and the Apple logo.” Rumors suggest the iPhone 18 Pro will look very similar to the iPhone 17 Pro, with few design differences aside from a smaller Dynamic Island display.
Tata supplies parts for the iPhone and also assembles some iPhones in India. The company is a growing supplier as Apple seeks to shift production away from China. The data also links suppliers to iPhone parts – information that Apple does not disclose.
Tata Electronics announced the attack last week, stating that it had discovered a cybersecurity incident after it became clear that the WorldLeaks ransomware group had released over 200,000 files containing information about Apple and Tesla. The files have been circulating on the dark web since at least June 10.
The manufacturer has restricted internal access to sensitive systems and commissioned an international consulting firm to conduct a forensic review. However, Reuters suspects the incident could anger Apple and jeopardize its relationship with Tata. Apple is investigating the incident and working with Tata on long-term security measures.

Furthermore, a new rumor from Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station provides further details about the Apple iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2, which are expected to be released in spring 2027. According to DCS, the iPhone 18 will have a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the iPhone 18e a 6.12-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate, and the iPhone Air 2 a 6.55-inch LTPO OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Compared to the iPhone 17e, the iPhone 18e‘s display is 0.5 mm larger, and compared to the original iPhone Air, the iPhone Air 2‘s display is 1.3 mm larger. The iPhone 18 has the same dimensions as the iPhone 17. The refresh rate is unchanged across all models compared to the previous generation. So, anyone hoping that the iPhone 18e would be the first device in the “e” series to feature a 120 Hz refresh rate will likely be disappointed.
