Earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy S27, model number SM-S925U, appeared in the GSM Association‘s IMEI database. Today, its sister models have also appeared there – the Galaxy S27+, the Galaxy S27 Ultra, and the much-discussed Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro. This virtually confirms the existence of the Pro model. It carries the model number SM-S957B/DS, the S27+ the number SM-S956U, and the S27 Ultra the model number SM-S958U.

The Galaxy S27 family, expected to launch in early 2027, will therefore consist of four models. Rumors suggest the Pro model will be a smaller Ultra without the S Pen, featuring a 6.47-inch display.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to get a privacy display

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S27 series in early 2027. Rumors suggest that the new Pro model will also feature the privacy display function introduced this year in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. There’s also a new tip regarding the battery, which is said to have a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims on Weibo that Samsung is currently testing a hardware-based privacy screen feature for the Galaxy S27 Pro. The Galaxy S26 Ultra was the first and remains the only Samsung smartphone to offer the Privacy Display feature, which protects screen content from prying eyes.

According to recent rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro will have a 5,000 mAh battery. It is also rumored to feature a triple-camera setup on the back, similar to the Galaxy S27 Ultra, although it may use a different telephoto lens.
