Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra: Display upgrade, colors and storage leaked
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is reportedly the successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold7 and is expected to be unveiled in London on July 22nd, along with the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
A new rumor surfaced today from the well-known tipster Ice Universe, claiming that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will offer a higher screen resolution than the Galaxy Z Fold7. Unfortunately, the exact resolution isn’t mentioned, only that it’s “significantly improved.” It also remains unclear which display will be affected – the front or the main display.
For comparison: The Galaxy Z Fold7 offers a resolution of 1968 x 2184 pixels on the main display and 1080 x 2520 pixels on the outer display. Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will have a minimal crease, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It is expected to be available in cream, graphite, green, and purple with 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage and will be more expensive than last year’s model.

Today, new details have also emerged regarding the colors and storage capacities of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the new, wider Galaxy Z Fold8, and the Galaxy Z Flip8. The Fold8 will be available in cream, graphite, lavender, and pistachio, as well as with 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage.
The Fold8 Ultra, on the other hand, is offered in the colors cream, graphite, green and violet, as well as with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of storage space.
And finally, there’s the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8, which will be available in cream, graphite, mint, and pink with 256GB and 512GB of storage. According to previous leaks, the Flip8 will be equipped with the Exynos 2600 chipset and satellite communication in some markets. It is also expected to feature a fold-free display and a new hinge.
