The OnePlus Pad 3, which launched in China at the end of 2024, is not the same tablet as the international model of the same name, which was released worldwide in mid-2025. The OnePlus Pad 4 was also recently released and now serves as the basis for the newly announced Pro tablet for China.

The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro features a 13.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3,392 x 2,400 pixels (7:5 aspect ratio). It offers a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 540 Hz touch sampling rate. Brightness can be increased to up to 1,000 nits. It also promises highly accurate color reproduction and supports Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid.

The display supports stylus input for taking notes – AI converts your notes into tables and mind maps. A keyboard case is available as an option for longer text entries. For entertainment, the tablet features eight integrated speakers for an immersive sound experience.

OnePlus Pad 3 Pro with large 13,380 mAh battery

The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro features a 13,380 mAh battery with support for 67-watt SuperVOOC fast charging. According to OnePlus, this allows you to watch up to 25 episodes of a series or podcast on a single charge – presumably referring to half-hour episodes. For comparison, the OnePlus Pad 3 for China had a 9,520 mAh battery, while the global version had a 12,140 mAh battery. The Pad 4 offers the same 13,380 mAh capacity but supports 80-watt fast charging.

The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It promises a 52% higher score in the AnTuTu benchmark than the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro and the global OnePlus Pad 3, both of which still use the original 8 Elite chip. This is achieved through a 20% increase in CPU performance and a 23% faster GPU, while simultaneously reducing power consumption. The Chinese Pad 3, in contrast, was equipped with a mid-range Dimensity 8350, so the performance leap is even more significant there.

The new tablet is available in dark brown and light green. At least in China, it comes with a charger and a USB-A to C cable. Whether the Pro model will be available outside of China is still unclear (however, the iPad 2 Pro was available worldwide, so it’s possible).

Prices

The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is available in 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, and 16/512 GB storage configurations. Prices are 4,400 CNY, 4,900 CNY, and 5,400 CNY, respectively. Converted, the base model costs approximately €570 / US$650 / £495 / 61,500 rupees. You can find it in the Oppo online store in China.
